Hey guys!! My name is Alison Hill
and I cannot wait to go to India with all of you and get to know each of you! I
am from Canton, GA and I am 20, but I'll be 21 by the time we see each other! I
go to North Georgia College and State University where I am a secondary math
education major and in the sorority Alpha Gamma Delta! If you have heard of
Young Life I'm involved with that too, I was a leader for a couple years, but
now I just work the ropes course at one of their camps on the weekends! Letâ€™s
see....I've grown up in the same town my entire life and have gone to the same
church my entire life (the same church as Kelli)! I have two amazing parents
who have led me to my relationship with Christ! My dad is where I got my huge
passion for missions! International missions are my favorite thing in the world
and I hope to maybe one day go into it full time either that or youth pastor or
non-profit, who knows maybe Iâ€™ll actually use my major and be a Young Life
leader on the side! I have only one sister, Catherine, and she is 22 and works
at Disney World! I love her to death and we are pretty close! But yeah my
family is really awesome! I have 6 longtime best friends! Two since I was born
(Sarah and Mallory), 3 that I grew up with at church since we were 3 in
preschool (Beth, Lauren, and Katie), and another from the 2nd grade (Abbye)! I
have incredible friends where I am at school too! Most of which are my sorority
sisters who have come to be some of my most supportive and loving sisters in
Christ! God is so incredible and I am so excited about discovering more
of that this summer! I love to play any and all sports! Football is my
favorite! But I have done gymnastics (longtime ago), swimming, and softball in
the past! This past summer I was an intern at my youth group back at home and
loved it! But I missed not going on a mission trip! I have been to Honduras 5
times and then to Ghana two summers ago! But none have ever been as long as
this trip is going to be which makes me even more excited! God is going to
reveal so much to us this summer and I canâ€™t wait to see what He has in store
for us! I love learning about the different lives that God has given my
brothers and sisters in Christ and canâ€™t wait to learn from all of yours and
the women of India this summer!!!
